Alternative Chip Solutions
Aipake’s printer consumables—specifically its inkjet and laser chips—are manufactured using independently developed semiconductor wafers, delivering significantly superior stability compared with comparable products. The products’ excellent compatibility and consistent quality have set a technological benchmark in the industry, making them the preferred choice of recycling facilities worldwide and the designated chip of choice for numerous overseas distributors.
Since its inception, Apex has placed great emphasis on independent intellectual property rights. Beginning in 2004, Apex’s engineers have been engaged in patent research related to chips. To date, the company has established a comprehensive IP management system that is fully digitized, encompassing patent monitoring and early warning, patent analysis, patent protection, patent avoidance strategies, trademark registration, software copyright protection, and integrated circuit layout-design registration. These innovative solutions have earned recognition from customers both domestically and internationally.
While maintaining technological leadership, Aipaike actively collaborates with industry peers to deliver customized product solutions that foster differentiated competitiveness, ensuring that its partners remain at the forefront of the market.
SoC Chip Solution
Driven by emerging trends in printer consumables chips—shifting from miniaturization and single-functionality toward larger form factors and greater functional complexity—Apacer has developed an SOC consumables chip with proprietary intellectual property rights to stay at the forefront of industry innovation and deliver enhanced value to customers.
What are the features and advantages of Apex’s SoC chips?
By leveraging a 32-bit embedded CPU core with proprietary intellectual property and integrating it with mature, pre-existing ASIC design technologies, this solution can fully meet the performance specifications required for OEM chips.
The integration includes dedicated hardware cryptographic modules for algorithms such as SHA, AES, DES, and RSA, as well as serial bus interface modules like I²C communication, 1-Wire communication, and UART communication, ensuring consistency with OEM requirements at the chip-level module level.
By employing a hardware encryption module design, the device delivers faster processing speeds compared with commercially available products based on general-purpose MCUs, while also offering significant advantages in terms of resistance to firmware upgrades.
It adopts a self-designed 32-bit/8-bit reduced instruction set architecture, which effectively prevents plagiarism and delivers faster computational performance.
Adopts a self-designed CPU core with complete proprietary intellectual property rights, effectively mitigating patent risks.
Shorten the new-product development cycle to deliver faster time-to-market for customers.
Aipike is the world’s largest supplier of consumable chips for the imaging industry, boasting the most comprehensive “compatible consumable chip ecosystem” and “end-to-end consumable chip recycling solutions.” The company has established a strong track record in printer software, hardware, chemistry, and optics, and has successfully provided R&D and implementation solutions for consumable technologies tailored to original-brand printers. As such, Aipike stands as a leading technology leader and pioneer in application-oriented innovations within the industry.
Next-generation printer consumables encryption SoC chip based on a 32-bit embedded CPU
In response to the information security requirements of printers, a customized and designed solution is implemented using a domestically produced 32-bit embedded CPU, integrating dedicated hardware encryption modules and CPU-controlled technical modules.
Furthermore, by adopting a novel low-power memory architecture, the company successfully launched, in August 2012, a next-generation embedded CPU-based SOC chip for printer consumables encryption, which boasts independent intellectual property rights.
