Getting to Know Pantum
In 2010, Zhuhai Saina Printing Technology Co., Ltd. successfully developed and launched its first PANTUM printer. In 2014, following a major asset restructuring, the entire printer business was transferred to Zhuhai PANTUM Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as PANTUM Electronics). Since then, PANTUM Electronics has served as the principal entity responsible for operating the printer business.
Pantum Electronics has established a wholly owned subsidiary—Zhuhai Pantum Printing Technology Co., Ltd.—which is dedicated to the planning, marketing, promotion, and customer service of Pantum laser printing products in China. Its business scope encompasses printers, compatible consumables, and related printing solutions and services. The sales network spans the entire country, with branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Chongqing, and other major cities. Authorized service centers under the brand are strategically located across major cities nationwide, forming an extensive and comprehensive service network that currently comprises more than 400 service stations, covering over 300 cities across mainland China, excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
At present, PANTUM has essentially completed the product lineup for A4 desktop laser printers, encompassing single-function, multi-function, and high-speed models, thereby meeting the office printing needs of more than 80% of users. The quality of its products is comparable to that of similar offerings from internationally renowned brands, earning it recognition as the top-choice high-quality printer recommended by the prestigious U.S. user laboratory, BLI. It has also been selected as a high-scoring domestic printer in China’s government procurement process and is now sold in over 40 countries worldwide. In March 2017, PANTUM officially launched its independently developed color laser printer, marking the company’s mastery of more advanced and mature A4 laser-printing technology. At the same time, PANTUM has entered a new phase of expanding into higher-tech multifunction devices and 3D printing, further accelerating the development of China’s printer industry.
